Established in 1992 and proudly based in Linwood, Renfrewshire, A&A Bakery is a family run business that has proudly been serving the community with fresh delicious goods for over 4 decades. What started as a small neighbourhood bakery has grown into a beloved local favourite, known for our commitment to delivering high quality products at a competitive price. We specialise in baked goods, from cakes through to rolls and pastries, serving retailers, resellers and businesses across the Glasgow area.

A brief timeline

1980s

Bakery business that bought products from home bakeries and supplied to the trade.

1992

Alan and Agnes McCaw set up A and A Bakers, ensuring supply of their own goods. They set up their new premises in Linwood and their new business grew from strength to strength.

2006

A and A Bakers traded for 14 years, with Alan and Agnes continuing to grow their business and product range. Disaster struck when fire ripped through the bakery, gutting the building. In order to keep trading, the husband and wife team reverted back to the days of buying products from individual home bakeries. Thankfully, they managed to successfully trade through and re-open after a three month period.

2020

The stewardship of A&A Bakers is passed on to Gary McCaw, the son of Alan and Agnes, with Gary acquiring the bakery as part of the wider Paisley Group. Over the coming years, expansion takes place with more mechanical processes implemented into the business. Gary continues to grow the brand, product range and wholesale customer base.

Over the past 5 years we’ve been working hard to steadily expand our delivery network across the wider Glasgow area. Now were excited to take the next big step, bringing A&A Bakery to homes across the UK!
